ITT Tech is FINALLY being shut down. After years of exploiting students and basically stealing money from the government, uncle sam has had enough.
Now... there's got to be room in all this for a good lawsuit, massive fraud to the tune of 100's of millions of dollars. Absolutely terrible education. Lying, cheating, stealing..... Who knows a good lawyer?!

Thank god, I graduated from here and would like to be contacted by Dept of Education or any attorneys in regards to having my student loans discharged and or class action suits against ITT-ESI.
I had an investigator from Dept of Education contact and meet with me years back (right before the Feds raided ITT Tech headquarters back in 2004). I had previously started a complaint site at itt-tech.stealingistheirbusiness.com which is how the Dept. of Ed. found me. I provided them with some audio recordings of various ITT tech staff, and dean admitting ITT Tech's negligence, that I had taken while attending. I had to bug myself due to the Program director, calling police to have me removed from campus under bogus claims that I threatened him. There was never any confrontation and It was because other classmates had informed him that we were seeking to sue the school and one of my classmates had pointed out that I was ring leader at the time for the action. So he tried to get me expelled to cease any lawsuits and to make an example of me. I was stalked down, peacefully pulled out of class, and escorted out of the building with a police officer on each arm and told to leave.
I went straight to nearest Wal-Mart, bought a mini-cassette recorder with mic extension and bugged myself every day after I went back for my own protection. I had to go in front of school board because the program director was trying to have me expelled but it didn't work.
Each and every payment since has been a painful reminder of the whole Itt Technical Institute experience and lack of education. I graduated with 3.9 out of 4.0 GPA and consider my degree worthless. I've never been able to nor have I worked within the field of which I went for Computerized Visualization Technology (3D Computer Animation).

Sounds like standard ITT silliness. I too was contacted and interviewed about the practices of ITT a couple of years ago. Sad times, I graduated with honors and have been utterly embarrassed and hide my schooling.
I've found I get way better responses when job hunting by hiding ITT from my resume and focusing on my prior experience.
